BILLY REDENBACHER

NAME. Billy Redenbacher

AFFILIATION. Vampire

AGE. Unknown (looks to be in late teens)

SPECIAL POWER. Malleability

DESCRIPTION. Close-cropped brown hair, blue eyes, and not tall at all, maybe poking at just over 5 feet. Otherwise, he looks completely normal for the most part, but every now and then, he turns his head a few extra degrees, bends a random joint slightly backwards, or something similarly unnerving. Myabe he's just really flexible, but....if you watch him closely for an extended length of time, you notice a certain fluidity about his motion, an oily springiness that permeates every gesture and step, and also manages to set most folks completely on edge.

INFORMATION. Billy's past is a complete mystery. While his caucasian appearance indicates European origin, he freely admits he doesn't quite remember the specifics (or the vagues) of his sunlit days or becoming one of the undead. Apparently he has out-unlived anyone who would know. To make matters worse, he doesn't have a placeable accent, speaks most western European languages (including Welsh, Basque, and Gaelic) like a native, and has demonstated at least a working knowledge of Latin (including the medievil vulgate) and Greek. While he has been sighted in Washington D.C., Paris, Dallas, and Miami a couple of times in the past several years, he seems to keep a very low profile on the whole among vampires. Among vampire hunters, though, he's generally known as "that bastard" among other, less fond names, seeing as how he has permantally scarred and/or mutilated at least 100 vampire hunters over the years who've gone after him. Oddly enough, he almost never kills those who hunt him. First time around anyway. If they want a rematch to end in the death to repay him for a missing eye, or leg, or what-have-you, then so be it. He doesn't seem compelled to explain this eccentric behavior, nor does apparently mind that the hunters who go through his ministrations tend to recover and go about their work with an obsessive edge that makes them all the more dangerous to other vampires.
For those folks familiar with him (i.e. the occassion maimed hunter and those whom he's told the tale to), his disconcerting movement patterns are recognizable as a certain mutability of form, some extra "give" that his transformation gave his body. He's somewhat elastic, can bend anyway he feels like at his joints, and it's next to impossible to break his bones: they're more likely to double over on themselves first. This also tacks on a bizarre and inhuman agility to typical vampiric strength and speed.
